For our community's first venture of hosting a blood drive with a local chapter of the American Red Cross Association, we were successful with 27 donors and 18 pints of blood. We want to extend our heartfull thanks to the American Red Cross team for their hard work and kindness, as well as, all those who donated. Among those who donated, were our Administrator Petra (first time donor) her daughter Olivia, and two of our tenants at The Apartments at Elizabeth Residence Bayside .

What a gorgeous day we were blessed with yesterday as we rode in the Glendale 4th of July Parade. Our Korean and Vietnam War Veteran, Howard "Hob" B. waved to the crowds of people along the parade route. His presence was greeted with many applause, waves, and shouts of "Thank you for your service!". Two of our lady tenants were also smiling as they waved American flags from the back seat.

Prior to the start of the parade, we were treated to an impromptu performance of "Uptown Funk" by the talented Nicolet High School Band.

It is always an honor for The Apartments at Elizabeth Residence Bayside to participate in the Glendale parade each year.
