ARREST MADE IN FATAL CROSBY SHOOTING

CROSBY, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives responded to a home on the 3000 block of Kennings Road yesterday morning, March 15, 2026, where a woman was found dead.

The victim has been identified as Myrtle Spells, 26. Authorities say the suspect, Christopher Thomas, 10/5/76, was in a dating relationship with Spells.

Thomas has been charged with murder in connection with Spells’ death and is currently booked in the Harris County Jail.

This remains a developing story.
