We are excited to announce the upcoming opening, in February 2026, of our newest clinic—Legacy Pasadena Southmore, located at 1951 Southmore Ave., Pasadena, TX 77502! This new clinic is a larger, state-of-the-art facility providing more space to offer patient services, community activities and events, along with the high-quality care you’ve come to expect!

As part of this opening, we’d like to let you know that we will be closing our Legacy San Jacinto location on January 30, 2026. Patients with upcoming appointments will be provided with multiple options to continue their care at other Legacy locations, including Legacy Pasadena Southmore. Your options are:

• Continue your care at another Legacy location. We have a process to transition your care and all upcoming appointments to another Legacy location. Legacy staff are available to assist you in the transition of your care and can be reached at (832) 548-5000.
o Legacy Baytown Garth (3509 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521)
o Legacy Central Beaumont (450 N 11th St., Beaumont, TX 77702)
o Legacy Santa Clara (5616 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023)

• Continue care at the new clinic. During your next in-person appointment we can help you get scheduled or placed on a waitlist for appointments beginning after February 19, 2026. More information about Legacy Pasadena Southmore is coming soon.

• If you choose to receive care outside of Legacy, you may request a copy of your medical records by visiting www.LegacyCommunityHealth.org/MedicalRecords. Legacy has partnered with HealthMark Group to help ensure the accurate and timely completion of medical record requests for our patients.

Each year, we recognize the vision and sacrifice of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to uplift all Americans.

This year, we also take a moment to recognize the work Legacy does as an organization to push that vision forward.

Legacy Community Health, Legacy Pharmacies, and Wellness Bar by Legacy will be closed on Monday, January 19 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.

Our pediatric walk-in clinic at Legacy Southwest (6441 High Star Drive, Houston, TX 77074) will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Our normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, January 20.

Joseph Mayers, United States Army - "This day is a day to reflect on the current serving military members and the sacrifice their families make while a service member is away from home."

Melody Gray, United States Air Force - "As the daughter of a World War II Veteran, I felt so proud to serve my country. I joined the Air Force from 1983 and served overseas at RAF Bentwaters and Travis AFB in California as an Air Cargo Specialist until 1988. I achieved the rank of Sergeant and received the Meritorious Service Medal for Outstanding Noncombat Meritorious Service in 1987. I am a fierce advocate for Veteran's rights and protections and champion legislation and public support for veterans and their families."

Legacy’s partnership with YES Prep Public Schools is all about making sure students have access to care that helps them thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. Because we believe: “To learn well, you must be well.”

Two amazing leaders recently sat down with local news stations to share what this looks like in action:

💬 Stephanie Ramirez, VP of School-Based Health Clinics at Legacy, joined YES Prep CEO Isy Castillo for an interview with KPRC 2, talking about how school-based care is making a real difference for Houston families. Stephanie also spoke with Univision Houston to share more about expanding access to care.

💬 Vivian Echevarria Guzman, Senior Director of School-Based Therapy, joined KHOU 11 alongside Adrienne Brown, Principal at YES Prep Hobby Secondary, to talk about why mental health support in schools is so important.
