When a blizzard and state of emergency hit, our team at Crystal Lake Health Care didn’t hesitate.

Through snow-covered roads, icy conditions, and travel warnings, our incredible staff showed up — because our residents come first.

Their dedication, compassion, and commitment remind us that healthcare isn’t just a job… it’s a calling. While many were safely home riding out the storm, our nurses, aides, dietary staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and support teams made sure our residents were warm, safe, comfortable, and cared for.

We are beyond grateful for the sacrifices they made to ensure uninterrupted care during the blizzard state of emergency.

To our amazing team: you are appreciated more than words can say. Our residents and families are lucky to have you.

Love was definitely in the air at Crystal Lake this Valentine’s Day! 💗

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day Bake Sale & Social, filled with sweet treats, laughter, and time together. Even sweeter, all proceeds from the bake sale were donated directly to our Resident Council to support future activities and events!

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible department heads and activities aides who generously donated all of the delicious baked goods. Your kindness and teamwork made this celebration extra special for our residents.

We are so grateful for a team that always puts our residents first! ❤️

🎉👏 We celebrated a huge milestone with a special Clap Out for Jason as he transitions back into the community!

Jason has been part of the Crystal Lake family since 2023. With the support of our dedicated team, he worked toward a safe and successful transition, and we’re proud to share that he has secured placement in a Group Home through Children’s Aid and Family Services.

His family is thrilled to see Jason moving into his own home with the staff support he needs, and they are grateful for the care and guidance he received during his time at Crystal Lake.
