Reason 1: No assessment = no coaching.
If you want random workouts, I’m not it. We test, we look at how you move, your history, what hurts, what matters.

Reason 2: Pain isn’t something we ignore here.
We follow a framework. Build tolerance and resilience. Load with intention. We don’t live in fear.

Reason 3: I won’t pretend the basics don’t matter.
Sleep. Steps. Protein. Stress. If you want to skip the foundation and blame your metabolism forever, I’m not your coach.

Reason 4: I work on real timelines. Think months, not weeks.
If you want a 6-week transformation, go buy a challenge.

Reason 5: I will call you up (and sometimes out).
If you say you “don’t have time” but your screen time says otherwise, we’re going to talk about it. Because ownership is part of the process.

Still want to work together?
Good. That means you’re ready for coaching that helps you step into the best version of yourself.

Anyone can make you sweat. This isn’t… that. This is different.

Message READY and I’ll send you the next steps.

Is your pain a red flag… or just a yellow one?

Red Flags = medical concerns → doctor needed

Yellow Flags = fear of movement, unhelpful beliefs → coach can help

Too often, people confuse the two and stop moving altogether. The truth? Yellow flags don’t need to hold you back. With the right plan, you can move past fear and back into life.

Ready to figure out if your pain is a red flag or a yellow one?

I’ve got a simple first step that helps you get clarity and a real plan forward. I’ll add the link to book your free consultation in the comments 👇

When people say they want to look “toned,” what they’re really asking for is shape, firmness, and definition.

That comes from… you guessed it: MUSCLE.

Muscle is built through progressive loading, appropriate fueling, recovery, and time. Not random workouts. Not easy weights forever. Not rushing the process.

And if building muscle for longevity, joint health, and resilience doesn’t immediately resonate, that’s okay.

Let’s talk aesthetics.

The look most people want:

• arms that hold their shape
• legs that feel solid and defined
• a body that looks like you workout

That look still comes from muscle.

You don’t get it from long cardio sessions (we still love cardio, don’t get it twisted) and you sure as s**t don’t get it from constantly changing workouts.

When muscle is built intentionally, the benefits go far beyond appearance:

• stronger joints and bones
• better posture and balance
• higher stress tolerance
• more energy
• confidence that carries into everyday life

This group is built around those principles, applied correctly and consistently.

If you’ve been working hard without seeing those changes, it’s not an effort issue. It’s a structure issue. I can help. Join my upcoming cohort (strength balance/movement assessment -> a handful of private sessions -> 16 week session) and let’s make it happen. You will be successful if you join and commit.

Why can some people live full, pain-free lives with obvious “injuries/abnormalities” while others are debilitated?

The primary reason is the concept of their load (all the things in their life line stress, diet, sleep, exercise, limitations etc) not exceeding their capacity.

If you live a lifestyle that supports pain-free living, it’s astounding how much more resilient your body becomes.

The bulging disc that used to keep you from working in the yard or playing with your kids turns into a nonissue that rarely causes discomfort.

The torn rotator cuff doesn’t stop you from playing pick-up sports on the weekend; in fact, it doesn’t cause problems at all.

The “bone on bone” in the X-ray doesn’t scare you anymore because you know what’s in the image doesn’t translate to how you’re allowed to live your life.

Lifestyle changes and specifically addressing physical limitations are the holy grail of long-term pain management because not only do they make you more resilient, they also help you INCREASE your capacity!

Not a medication
Not a stretch or specific exercise
Not a supplement

This is not a recurring class.

This is one intentional training cycle, built for people who:

• Qualify via the assessment
• Have appropriate goals for group training
• Want structure without randomness

Schedule details:
Exact start date + times will be set after the group is finalized, but expect:
✔️ At least 2 evening sessions/week
✔️ Possible 1 morning option
✔️ Full access inside Everfit so missed sessions can still be completed

Not everyone who wants in will qualify and that’s the point.

The assessment helps determine whether:

• This group is your best next step, or
• You’re better served in 1:1 coaching

Either way, what you invest in that first step moves with you. Schedule your assessment here:

If you have questions about taking that first step, please reach out.

Yes to movement and to connection. Yes to showing up exactly as we are.

This wasn’t about going hard or chasing numbers or proving anything. It was about celebrating movement, friendship, and strong humans choosing themselves on a Saturday in the midst of the holiday hustle and bustle.

Grateful for bodies that move and for moments that fill the cup. Happy Saturday 💪❤️

The Refinery isn’t a conventional gym by any means - we are now bridging the gap between healthcare and fitness, helping you solve problems that general fitness can't.

This is a private training studio built for people who want more than another workout. We help people rebuild strength, confidence, and capability - even when “fitness” hasn’t helped before.

This isn’t group fitness or DIY workouts or a general workout plan, or even a place you can drop into when you're passing through.

This is:
✅ Movement education
✅ Mentorship
✅ Coaching built entirely around you - your body, your goals, your lifestyle

If you’re tired of pain, confusion, or generic programs that just don’t cut it, we’ve got you.

Your breath is your brake pedal.

When stress hits, your breathing shifts. It becomes shallow, fast, and stuck in your chest. This signals your nervous system to stay in high alert, which ramps up pain and tension.

Breathwork is one of the simplest ways to flip the switch. Deep belly breathing, box breathing, or even a simple 4-7-8 pattern helps move you from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest.”

Try it right now:

Sit or lie down.

Inhale deeply for 4 seconds.

Hold for 4.

Exhale for 4.

Hold for 4.

Repeat for 2–3 minutes.

It’s like putting your foot on the brake pedal, slowing your mind, calming your body, and giving pain less fuel.

Would you be interested in learning more about how YOUR breath helps (or hinders) your stress management? If so, stay tuned…

“Some people think compromise is a good thing. I think it sucks. Compromise is a low-energy way to solve a problem incompletely. Spend the energy. Compromise should never be the goal. Freedom is the goal. Freedom takes a lot of energy to get and keep.”

If you’ve been living around your pain…
Avoiding movement…
Saying “no” to things you wish you could say “yes” to…

That’s not weakness. That’s survival.

But if you’re ready for more - more capability, more confidence, more life - it means you’re not okay settling for less anymore.

This isn’t about pushing through pain.

It’s about learning how to rebuild your body with purpose so you don’t have to keep compromising on the things that matter most.

You’ve got ONE life. ONE chance at today. Let’s make it count.
