So much JOY in one room! This week’s Joy Retreat brought together incredible members from WomenSafe and Family Pride — organizations that champion safety, inclusion, and support every day. The night was all about filling our own cups, nurturing the hearts that give so much to others. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special event.

We’re thrilled to announce two upcoming screenings of the Hiking Through Grief documentary! 🌿

On October 8 and October 11, Hiking Through Grief will be featured at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.

This powerful film follows six widows and widowers, all part of the Power of Joy – Hiking Through Loss program, as they navigate the journey of grief and discover ways to rebuild their lives.

Join us at 5:30 PM at Frohring Meadow Katydid Lodge for a light dinner and reception before the screening.

More often than not, we come across a project that touches us all very deeply. St. Martin de Porres School is a special gift to the surrounding community. The four hundred and fifteen students who attend this school are taught to become men and women of service, purpose and faith. Preparing the garden for their students to care for is a metaphor for planting the seeds of growth in the nurturing of their journey toward creating beautiful adult lives. Thank you to Lori Pilat, Mike McClain, Monica Dublo, Irene McMullen, Nancy Horn, Laura Subel, Nancy Dirks, Barb Barker, and Rich Pohle for your hard work in making a special place for St. Martin de Porres students!
