🍂 Power of Joy Kids Fall Cookout! 🍁
We’ve had so many fun get-togethers this summer and fall with POJ kids— lots of laughter, games, and community — and our Fall Cookout was the perfect way to wrap up the season! Thank you to everyone who joined in the joy. We can’t wait for even more memories ahead with our amazing Power of Joy Kids!

In collaboration with Big Hearted Blooms and Culinary Fights Cancer, we will be creating centerpieces for those battling cancer who will be participating in the CFC dinner in December. We will be working at the BHB location in Cleveland.

Thank you to our Power of Joy volunteers! The Ronald McDonald House provides nourishing meals to families who stay in Cleveland for medical treatment for their child. This program allows families to concentrate on the health of their child without the additional stress of planning, preparing and affording food while away from home.
Thank you to all who helped at RMHC —Jim Bracken, Monica Dublo, Glory Graham, Mike McClain, Lori Pilat, Gary Bryant and Rich Pohle who brought us this project. We had a blast making breakfast casserole, chicken noodle soup, roasted potatoes and green beans. We will be doing this project again!

This hike is for anyone whose loved one has passed, and they would like to honor them by placing a small biodegradable heart in the woods. We will meet at Turkey Ridge Shelter for lunch (provided by Power of joy,) then as a group walk a short distance to place our hearts. After, we will do a 2-3 mile walk in West Woods. If you're not interested in the hike... come for the first part!

So much JOY in one room! This week’s Joy Retreat brought together incredible members from WomenSafe and Family Pride — organizations that champion safety, inclusion, and support every day. The night was all about filling our own cups, nurturing the hearts that give so much to others. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special event.
