Today, Your Recovery Counseling (YRC) had the pleasure of welcoming Darius Green from First Step Recovery for a tour of our location and a meaningful discussion about service collaboration.

Our conversation centered on how we can work together to meet the greater needs of the populations we both serve, while strengthening referral pathways, enhancing continuity of care, and expanding access to quality behavioral health services.

At YRC, we believe community impact grows when providers come together with shared purpose and vision. We appreciate providers and liaisons who are committed to solutions, not silos.

The work is bigger than any one organization and together, we can do more.

AI is already shaping social work and the lives of the clients we serve. The impact is all around us: documentation systems, client help-seeking behaviors, environmental impacts, and policy debates are just a few examples.

The 3rd Annual Ethics Institute is packed with incredible, unique content featuring leading experts on AI and social work practice from Ohio and across the country! This one-day virtual conference will explore the full ethical landscape of artificial intelligence through a social work lens. Weโ€™ll unpack what AI is (and isnโ€™t), examine its clinical implications for confidentiality, informed consent, and client well-being, and equip supervisors with tools to responsibly guide AI use. At the macro level, weโ€™ll examine bias in algorithmic decision-making, the environmental impacts of AI infrastructure, surveillance concerns, opportunities for expanded access to information and support, improved productivity, and the evolving regulatory landscape, including what accountability should look like in behavioral health.

If we care about ethical practice, we cannot sit this conversation out.

Join us on April 29. Earn up to 9 CEUs. Learn more and register at www.naswoh.org/ethicsinstitute
