In April 2000, the Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Center at Menorah Park opened its doors in Beachwood, Ohio. Since then, we have provided over 20 years of excellent care to thousands of patients and clients. We offer a wide range of services to help adults “Live empowered, Live better, & Be Inspired”. The Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Center is the Silver Award winner of the 2017 NuStep Pinnacle Award, an international award that recognizes excellence in whole-person wellness programming for older adults. Our services include Physical Therapy , Occupational Therapy, & Speech Therapy, independent gym memberships and supervised exercise programs working with our exercise specialists.
The Aquatic Therapy Center is state-of-the art, providing aquatic therapy using our three individual warm water therapy pools and one large recreational/exercise pool for our members. These services are provided in a friendly and supportive environment by licensed, highly trained, and dedicated therapists. All of our treatments are always individualized to fit your needs and provided one on one. Our Physical Therapists specialize in Aquatic Therapy, Vestibular therapy for balance and dizziness, Orthopaedics, chronic pain management, McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis (MDT), Parkinson's disease LSVT rehab, and dry needling.
In 2019, our facility grew to include both Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Occupational therapy provides therapeutic techniques to address challenges with activities we perform each day and Speech Therapy can help you gain greater control over speaking and language skills.
Although therapy eventually comes to an end, your need to stay active and healthy does not. You can use the Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Centers’ pools and fitness center independently after finishing therapy, or you can continue your health program with the assistance of our exercise specialists.
