While colonoscopy is often considered the gold standard for colorectal cancer screening, it isn’t the only option.

For men at average risk, screening typically begins at age 45. However, some men may need screening earlier depending on symptoms, family history, or certain genetic conditions.

Many men find the idea of a colonoscopy intimidating or invasive, but there are several different screening methods available. The best option depends on your personal risk factors and discussion with your healthcare provider.

Remember, you can call your Joe anytime with questions you may have! 📞
