Something I’ve always wanted was for my house to smell like a health food store. It does now thanks to the essential oils used in my work and the daily palo santo burning.

I’m also super picky about the scents I put on my body, hair and face. I’ve been using Living Libations for years. Their packaging and products do something really pleasant to my brain. If you’ve never heard of them they are a Canadian company. They also offer a free Zoom skin consultation. And the baby ducks? That’s just Saturday shenanigans by the creek.

Happy Earth Day! I spent my first Earth Day in Woodstock 40 years ago and here’s what I’m up to tonight. I’m so happy that the class is going to be crowded for Braiding Sweetgrass. Mother Earth deserves all of our care and respect. We seem to forget that this is truly our only home.

This cannot be real. I’ve created my ultimate dream because of all of you that come a’ callin’. I knew you’d show up and I’d just have to be patient and then you came. And you keep on coming.

And the most magical thing is that I manifested a space so cozy and natural to work from. My home. This is why it’s soooo affordable and I get to spend oodles of time deeply truly and madly seeing your wild hearts.

Little secret time. When I was young I used to pretend I was the village shaman and I make potions to cure them. Ok when I was working in my lab bathroom at 7 yo shaving cream and mouth wash were added in Dixie Cups and given to the villagers (my cousins) for their different ailments. Didn’t really have access to botanicals but a girls gotta learn from some where. Why not in my parents bathroom in Inwood at 5000 Broadway.
