Please remember the family, the family-by-heart, and the friends of Jerusalem resident, Eleanor (Williamson) Wilson who passed away Saturday, August 23 at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. Eleanor will be remembered as a devoted wife to her late husband, Richard, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother; a loyal sister and aunt; and a caring friend and neighbor. Family and friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home - Harper Chapel, on Thursday, August 28 from 10:00 am until the time of the Eastern Star services at 12:45 pm. The funeral will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in the Jerusalem Cemetery. We join with family and friends as they celebrate the life of Judith Robinson, age 82, who passed away peacefully in Wheeling Hospital on Thursday, August 21 following an extended illness. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose life exemplified kindness, compassion, grace, and faith. Visitation will be held at the Beallsville Church of Christ on Sunday, August 24 from 1pm until the time of her funeral service at 3pm. Graveside services and interment will be held Monday, August 25 at 11am at Crystal Lake Cemetery near West Union in Doddridge County, West Virginia. With sadness we share the news of the passing of Beallsville resident, Randy "Hoss" Hudson, age 61, on Friday, August 8 in Wheeling Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Hoss was a son of Patty Crum VanDyne and the late Charles Lynn Hudson. He was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, Papaw, and friend. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him as a hard-working and fun-loving fella who was never serious and who always found something to joke about. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 12 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, Beallsville from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 6pm. With sadness we share the news of the passing of Steve Benson who passed away Saturday, August 2 at his home with his family by his side. Steve was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired employee of the former Ohio Valley Coal #6 Mine near Beallsville. Please remember his loved ones in the days and weeks to come . . . his devoted wife of 49 years, Cindy Eleric Benson; his children Amanda (Scott) Magnano, Christopher Benson, Daniel Benson, Alicia Benson, and Shawn (Jordan) Benson; his brother Ed (Shauna) Benson; his seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, also his extended family and friends. We join with family and friends as together we celebrate the life while mourning the loss of former New Castle Community - Beallsville resident, Betty Davis Lucas. Betty passed away at her residence in Lewis Center, Ohio Tuesday, June 10th. She was a devoted wife, loving mother of seven, doting grandmother of 24, proud great-grandmother of 39, and a caring great great-grandmother of five, a dedicated sister, a patient aunt, and a loyal friend. For years she worked side-by-side with her husband, Bob on the family farm, while they raised their children, and she drove school bus, and also served her community in various capacities including finance clerk of Wayne County. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 16 between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home – Harper Chapel, with funeral services immediately afterward. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
