We are proud to announce that B*H has been recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital for the third year in a row.

This recognition is based on publicly available data ranging from operations, quality and patient perspective to finance. Out of 62 CAHs in Nebraska and nearly 1,400 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation, The Chartis Top 100 ranking puts B*H among the top performing CAHs in the state and nation.

Congratulations to our Nurse Case Management Team for being selected for the Community Hero Award sponsored by Medica and News Channel Nebraska (KWBE)!

Still rockin’ and ready to respond. 🎸 When it comes to lifesaving skills, our team doesn’t miss a beat. 🎶

Did you know that CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival? It is a fundamental skill that is required of all our clinical staff. At B*H, we are trained, tested, and prepared when every second counts. 💓

From chest compressions to teamwork, this crew hit all the right notes. From Bon Jovi to Tom Petty to Led Zeppelin and even Elvis, Becky Pfeiffer, our American Heart Association Training Center Coordinator, and other CPR-trained instructors, led our training lab for the week. The room was set up and ready to rock, from band posters, guitars, tattoos, skeletons and some of the best rock candy around. Our team was set up for success.

A special thank you to employees and volunteers who pulled this week off. With 12 classes over five days, our clinical staff is CPR-recertified and ready to save lives—rock & roll style—because preparedness should be powerful and fun.
