During chiropractic school, I tutored the gross anatomy lab which led to my fascination with anatomy. This specimen show cases the muscles of the back. You can see the rhomboid, trapzeius, serratus anterior, and paraspinal muscles among others.

What is an Activator? An Activator is one of many adjusting tools. The end if smaller than the part of my hand that I used to adjust, so it can use less force and be even more specific. I like to use it on extremities and ribs, but it can be used everywhere! It is a great option if you don't like the noise or motion of being manually adjusted. Just let me know!

Some of you have probably been to the Bodies exhibit when it was in Omaha. This exhibit uses human cadavers and through a process called plastination. Body plastination is a technique that replaces water and lipids in biological tissue with a curable polymer to create dry, odorless, and durable specimens. By doing this, different anatomy can be showcased.

DISH or diffus idiopathic spinal hyperostosis is a condition where the ligaments around the spine become calcified. A classic sign on x-ray is called the "candle wax" appearance. You can see that clearly on the first photo.
