Today we had a wonderful day celebrating a little Holiday Cheer with the employees of Whispering Winds Cottage, it was a good afternoon watching them laugh, smile, tell stories, and just to have a little fun with some of their co - workers off of work time. We all enjoyed some snacks, a game, gift exchange, and a reflection of the year.
I have to say we are blessed to have hard working dedicated employees of Whispering Winds Cottage. 🥰

We had some special little visitors that brought alot of smiles, and cuddling time, Miss Brixley & Miss Maisie,( Mothers are Memphis and Autumn ) both medication aides and had their little girls a month apart.

Whispering Winds Cottage has a couple of baby girls to brag about!! Autumn & Memphis both are Medication Aides, and for the most part work day shift into the evening hours, and have both done multiple duties.
A month apart to the day two new baby girls were born.

Memphis : Mother to Brixley Jade Marie,
Born: October 17, 2025 @ 8:27 am, Miss Brixley weighed 7lbs, 15 Oz. And 18 1/2 inches long. And lots of black hair.
Mom is back to work and grandma Stephanie also works at Whispering Winds Cottage as a Medication aide, and loves to spoil her 1st grand baby.

Autumn: Mother to Maisie Dawn
Born: November 17, 2025 @ 4:50pm
Miss Maisie weighed 7lbs 6oz. And 19 1/4 inches long, and lots of black hair. Autumn will return after the 1st of the year.

Congratulations to both new Mom's and we cant wait for some more baby snuggles.

What are you thankful for....was the topic of discussion this week. Are are a few of our favorites.
Some of our residents stated, food, family, a warm place, pie, Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and a lot more, lots of good conversations.
We are truly blessed and greatly here at Whispering Winds Cottage ❤️

Today we had our employee holiday party. We wanted to do something a little different this year. We entertained the residents with reindeer games, candy cane game, and a Christmas sing a long. It was a great time. Lots of laughs by everyone and good memories were made. Sandy and I are very fortunate to have a great team that is very dedicated to the work & care they provide to the residents of Whispering Winds Cottage. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from all of us! ❤️🎄
