First, just want to thank every patient that stood by us through the most difficult time of our lives, the loss of our Dr. James B. Noble. For myself, Mary, Breanna and Josh, Brandon and Teresa, 6 loving grandchildren, Debbie Smith, Josh Noble, not only was he Dr. Noble, he was husband, Dad, Big Daddy, Doc, brother, uncle and Papaw Jim. We shared him with so many others. Jim loved his patients, as all of us did as well. You weren’t just patients, you were part of our extended family. Closing the office wasn’t what I wanted at all but it became the only choice I had. On behalf of me and the rest of our family, we wish all of you the best! As anyone could expect, we thought there was no one like him and that he was the best doctor any one could have!

As we put in our office closing notice, any one wanting a copy of their medical records can send us a request to PO Box 204, Beattyville, Ky 41311. For those of you who’ve called, came by the office or touched base with Breanna or myself, we are working on getting the records printed out. We haven’t been able to get as many done as we wanted due to having to pack everything up and get things moved. Now that we have gotten moved, now we can work on getting everyone’s records done. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience in this matter. This has been and continues to be an emotional time for us but as always, Dr. Noble’s patients come first. We will continue to make you our first priority and will get those records requested to everyone or to each’s new provider they have chosen.

Again, thank you for allowing Dr. Noble and his staff the opportunity to take care of your medical needs for 33 years. We greatly appreciate the trust you put in all of us. God bless each of you.

The family and staff of Dr. James B. Noble are sad to make the announcement that Dr. Noble lost his fight with a short illness last night. Summer Shuler, APRN, will be keeping the office open and taking care of all the patients. The office will remain open, with the exception of a couple of days out of respect for his family and staff to deal with this horrible loss. Everyone who has appointments will be contacted if the office isn’t going to be open the day of their scheduled appointment to ensure everyone is taken care of and no one goes without their medications. For anyone who doesn’t have an appointment and can’t reach the staff at the office, 606-208-8077, you will need to contact the pharmacy you use and let them know any medications you are needing and the staff will check each pharmacy daily to ensure no one goes without their medications. At this time, we would ask that the family and staff be given their privacy to allow them to deal with this horrible loss of a husband, father, brother, uncle, coworker, and the physician to many patients that he loved and enjoyed taking care of. Please keep the family and staff in your prayers at the time. God bless each of you.
