April is Autism Awareness Month 💙

Every Friday this month, our team will be wearing Autism Awareness shirts to show our support, spread understanding, and celebrate the incredible individuals and families in our community.

This month holds special meaning for us, and we’re proud to help raise awareness, promote acceptance, and remind everyone to see the able, not the label.

Many of you may already know and love her from Broad Creek Pharmacy, where she has spent years caring for patients in our community. Her kindness, experience, and dedication to helping others have made such an impact on so many people.

We are honored to welcome patients from Broad Creek Pharmacy to the Lookout Pharmacy family!

Broad Creek Pharmacy has been a trusted part of the community for many years, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue caring for their patients! Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and seamless as possible. Lookout Pharmacy is in network with ALL insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

For Broad Creek patients, you do not need to do anything. Your prescriptions are being transferred, and our team is here to help with anything you may need.

Beginning Monday March 9th, prescriptions can be:
• Picked up at Lookout Pharmacy in Beaufort
• Delivered FREE anywhere in Carteret County to your home or workplace

Respiratory Illness Update 🏥🤒
Carteret Health Care is currently experiencing higher-than-expected levels of influenza. Because respiratory illnesses can spread quickly in larger groups, we highly encourage limiting visitors to 1 - 2 individuals at this time to help keep our patients and staff safe.

To help us protect our community:
❌ No Routine Testing: Please do not visit the Emergency Department for testing unless you require emergency care. 🩺
🤒 Stay Home if Sick: Do NOT visit if you have cold or flu-like symptoms (unless you are seeking care).
🚫 Visitor Restrictions: We strongly discourage visits from children under 12 and immunocompromised individuals.
😷 Mask Up: Masking is strongly encouraged throughout our facilities.
💉 Vaccinate: It’s not too late to get your flu vaccine!
🧼 Wash Your Hands: Frequent hand hygiene helps stop the spread of germs.
