This offering has been years in the making and was further inspired by my own recent postpartum experience. Every postpartum mother deserves to be nurtured physically, emotionally and spiritually during such a transformative time. It truly takes a village and our care reflects just that.

This week we celebrate black breastfeeding mothers and shed light on the socioeconomic disparities that affect our community’s access to equal breastfeeding opportunities.

Today I celebrate the black moms in my community who breastfed, feed, and/or have inspired & supported me on my journey, all of my elders 🫶🏽 and of course, myselfff💅🏽

Breastfeeding has been the most rewarding, empowering, selfless journey of my life! We made it past 6 months and the next goal is a year 🫶🏽 While I am so proud to be apart of the 37%, I also recognize my privilege to be able to reach that milestone.
