We want to extend a huge thank you to every single person who has donated to our food pantry this past month. Your generosity is truly heartwarming. It’s a blessing to see our community come together to help us serve our neighbors in need.

Help us congratulate Justin!

Justin has been a valued part of our Loaves & Fishes team for the past two years, and we are thrilled to share that he is now officially a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist!

This is a huge accomplishment, and we couldn’t be prouder. Justin is a powerful example of what recovery can look like, proof that hope, hard work, and community support truly change lives. We are incredibly grateful to have him on our team and excited to see the impact he’ll continue to make in the lives of others.

We want to thank everyone that came out to participate in our 5k Run for Recovery! It made my heart happy to see everyone's smiling faces and such a good turn out! First and foremost we want to congratulate all of those who participated! Our top three runners were:
1st overall: Josiah Hynes (time: 17:40.90)
2nd overall: Flint Harding IV (time: 20:10:77)
3rd overall: Michael Garner (time: 20:11.93)

A huge outshout to Johnny Jernigan & Blue Cross NC for donating waters and Gatorades for all of the runners and walkers. Run The East, you guys are AMAZING.

Thank you to all of my amazing volunteers: we could not have done this without you!

Thanks to Beaufort Police Department, Beaufort N.C. for all your help and support.

Thank you to Veterans Services of the Carolinas for being a part of this.
