After listening to Cam Newton's interview, several times, I disagree with the idea that a home is broken due to the absence of one parent. In my experience, being raised by both a single mother and a single father in separate households was not indicative of a broken home; rather, I had the luxury of two loving environments. My parents did not miss a beat on making the house a home and safe place for me. When I asked Boston if he thought our home was broken, he didn't comprehend the concept lol, and before I could explain, he confidently stated that our home was not broken; momma we good is his exact words. The presence of love in a home is the determining factor in its wholeness. It’s ok to call me crazy and to disagree, but I would not change a thing.
