We're so proud to recognize Nurse Kristen for recently obtaining her RN license!

Kristen joined our Aveanna team in November as an LVN GB nurse and quickly continued honing her skills and education. She became trach/vent certified in December, and now she can add "RN" to her list of accomplishments!

We have enjoyed watching Kristen learn and further her education. Her dedication continues to have such a wonderful impact on her patients and their families.

Aveanna is proud to recognize World Heart Day, a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease (CVD) and encourage communities to advocate for heart health. 2025 is especially unique because it marks the 25th anniversary of World Heart Day.

According to the World Heart Federation, CVD kills over 20 million people each year. However, 80% of premature deaths from CVD can be prevented by simple changes to diet, exercise, and stress management.

This year's theme for World Heart Day is "Don't Miss a Beat," an initiative to raise awareness for the fact that so many people are missing out on time with loved ones due to early deaths as a result of CVD.
