Birth control is not one-size-fits-all! Every woman has different needs, goals, and preferences, and there are many safe and effective options available. πŸ’œ

Birth control methods generally fall into three categories:

Hormonal methods like pills, IUDs, implants, rings, injections, or patches help regulate ovulation.

Barrier methods such as condoms, diaphragms, or permanent options like tubal ligation work by preventing s***m from reaching the egg.

Natural methods focus on fertility awareness and behavior-based choices.

Whether you want something low maintenance, hormone-free, or long-term, your OB/GYN can help you find the option that fits your life. The most important thing to remember is that the choice is yours!

Ultrasound technology helps to detect any problems in your: Uterus, bladder, cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and breasts. This technology can help doctors detect any abnormal growths in your reproductive system as well as masses related to cancer.

Our team at Southeast Texas OB/GYN Associates is committed to protecting your fertility and overall health. πŸ’ž For appointments call 409-899-1499 or book online today.

Your body has a way of letting you know when something is not quite right. While occasional changes can be normal, some symptoms deserve a conversation with your OB/GYN, especially if they are persistent or worsening.

Symptoms you should not ignore include:

βœ” Pelvic pain or pressure that does not go away

βœ” Heavy or irregular bleeding between periods

βœ” Periods that are consistently very painful or disruptive

βœ” Pain during in*******se

βœ” Unusual vaginal discharge or odor

βœ” Bladder leaks, urgency, or difficulty emptying your bladder

βœ” A feeling of fullness or heaviness in the pelvis

If a symptom is affecting your comfort, daily routine, or peace of mind, it is worth being evaluated. You know your body best, and speaking up early can often lead to simpler treatment options.

πŸ“ž Call Southeast Texas OB/GYN if symptoms persist or if something just does not feel right. 409-899-1499
