Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) causes problems such as irregular menstrual cycles, excessive hair growth, acne, obesity, infertility, and the possible development of diabetes and osteoporosis.

PCOS is a condition of unknown cause, and symptoms vary from woman to woman. Treatment for PCOS depends on the associated problems and can include weight reduction, hormones or – in some cases – an operation.

Morning sickness is one of the most common symptoms during early pregnancy, but there are simple ways to ease the discomfort.

Start your day with dry toast or crackers, and try eating small meals throughout the day instead of three large ones. Staying hydrated with water or electrolyte drinks can also make a big difference. Ginger or peppermint may help soothe nausea, and resting when you can is just as important. Be mindful of foods or smells that trigger your symptoms and try to avoid them when possible.

If morning sickness is making daily life difficult, you're not alone. Call SETX OB/GYN Associates at (409) 899-1499 to see what treatment options might be right for you.
