The ladies of Lucas Court came together today for a fabulous Hat Day celebration! From elegant styles to playful designs, everyone had a blast trying on and picking out the perfect hat.

The laughter, smiles, and beautiful choices made it a day to remember—and the hats were just as bright and joyful as the women wearing them!

🍪 Baking Joy at Lucas Court 🍪

Today was extra sweet at Lucas Court! A few of our wonderful residents teamed up with our amazing volunteer, Mrs. Polly, to bake Cool Whip cookies—and the results were just as delightful as the laughter in the kitchen.

From mixing to tasting, everyone enjoyed the process and the company. Mrs. Polly brings such energy and warmth to every activity, and baking together was the perfect recipe for smiles and connection.

Thank you to Mrs. Polly and our residents for making today so special (and delicious)!

🎵🎤 Music, Memories & Pure Fun 🎤🎵

Lucas Court was rocking today thanks to the amazing Bayou Band! They brought their incredible energy and talent to our community, and our residents had an absolute blast. From the timeless voice of Patsy Cline to the classic sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival, the music had everyone smiling, clapping, and singing along.

It was a day filled with joy, nostalgia, and toe-tapping fun—and we can’t thank the Bayou Band enough for sharing their gift with us. Our community loved every minute, and we hope to welcome them back soon!

Lucas Court Senior Living would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Amedisys Hospice Care for joining us today in honoring our veterans. Your generosity in providing delicious BBQ and your presence in celebrating the service of our heroes made this Veterans Day even more meaningful.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

Lucas Court Senior Living held a special Veterans Day ceremony to honor the brave men and women among our residents who served our country. It was a beautiful time of reflection, gratitude, and community.

We were honored to welcome guest speaker James Ackley, an active duty Army member, who shared inspiring words and heartfelt appreciation for our veterans. His presence made the day even more meaningful.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cake together—because celebrating service also means celebrating life, friendship, and the bonds we share.

Thank you to all who served, and to those who continue to serve. We are forever grateful.
