At Gentiva, we want to help you prevent and manage chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory disease.

Here are some tips for a healthier and happier Spring:

• Move more! Thirty minutes of exercise a day can make a huge difference! Walking can also count
• Instead of grabbing fast food for dinner, try healthier choices like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and low-fat dairy products
• Substitute that Coke or sweet tea with a glass of water
• SLEEP! Adults need a minimum of 7 hours of sleep. Get your beauty rest

Meet Crinkle, our beautiful therapy dog; she got to love the residents at Golden Years and Sabine Place! Crinkle also got to take a little break and lay in the sun before heading to her next meeting. All the residents just loved her, and it was so amazing to see all the smiles.
