Aphasia Conversation Lab Official page of the Aphasia Conversation Lab at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

The Aphasia Conversation Lab is housed at the Speech and Hearing Clinic at Lamar University. In the aphasia conversation lab, we work to help individuals with aphasia communicate in conversation through the development of effective, interactive strategies. We provide individual and group therapy sessions and also host a support group meeting for individuals with aphasia on the first Wednesday of every month at noon. Our aim is to facilitate authentic and positive communicative interactions for individuals with aphasia and provide opportunities for friendship, support, community involvement, and advocacy.
