"I had a 2 level 360° fusion of the L4,L5,S1. I was very active before my back started giving me problems. Once Dr. Francis identified the issue, he suggested surgery ASAP. I saw him on a Tuesday and that Friday had the surgery. I trusted him because I explained to him that I needed to be able to work to support my family and I wanted to continue to be active. After explaining that to him he assured me he could help and that I would be able to do all the things I wanted to do. He gave me hope. After surgery the first 6 weeks were very difficult. I thought I made a mistake. I was in alot of pain and started getting depressed. 3 weeks into physical therapy I was able to start going back to the gym and after the first week I started to feel better. I was able to stop all pain meds and 1 month after going to the gym I felt way better. I really feel Dr. Francis saved my life. I didn't want to have to be on pain meds for the rest of my life and I didn't want to not be able to work. Today Dr. Francis released me to do everything I did before my back issues, including work!!! 10 1/2 weeks after surgery I'm me again.
