Living with hemorrhoids can be uncomfortable and disruptive, but surgery isn’t your only option. At VasCare Clinics, we specialize in Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE)—a minimally invasive procedure that tackles the root cause of hemorrhoid symptoms without the need for incisions or extended recovery time.

What makes HAE a great option?

◾️ Quick recovery – Get back to your routine faster than with traditional surgery.
◾️ No hospital stay – The procedure is performed in an outpatient setting.
◾️ Covered by most insurance plans – Making it a practical and accessible solution.

This safe and effective treatment reduces symptoms like pain, swelling, and bleeding, so you can finally feel like yourself again.

Considering treatment options for uterine fibroids? Here are some of the most common:

🔹Hysterectomy: Surgical removal of all or part of the uterus, often recommended for fibroids, uterine prolapse, cancer, or chronic pelvic pain. Can be partial (supracervical) or total, with potential removal of fallopian tubes and ovaries.

🔹Myomectomy: Surgery to remove fibroids, requiring hospitalization, with risks like bleeding, infection, and potential complications with pregnancy. Recovery can take 2-6 weeks, with a risk of fibroid regrowth.

🔹Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE): A cutting-edge, minimally invasive outpatient procedure using X-ray-guided catheter to block blood flow to fibroids, leading to gradual shrinkage. Preserves the uterus and potentially fertility, while offering a safer, less invasive alternative to surgery.

Visit vascareclinics.com to learn about UFE, a non-surgical treatment option for uterine fibroids, and take our self-assessment quiz to see if you might be a candidate.

Are you experiencing any of these common symptoms of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)?

🔹Claudication: Pain, cramping, or fatigue in the leg or arm muscles during physical activity due to reduced blood flow.

🔹Numbness or Weakness: Sensation of numbness, weakness, or coldness in the affected limbs, indicating insufficient blood flow to the nerves.

🔹Changes in Skin Color or Temperature: Skin may appear pale or bluish and feel cool to the touch. In severe cases, ulcers or sores may develop.

🔹Poor Wound Healing: Slow or poor healing of cuts, scratches, or injuries, particularly in the lower limbs, increasing the risk of infection.

It is critical for PAD to be treated as soon as possible. If left untreated, PAD can result in critical limb ischemia (CLI), which can cause constant leg pain, the need for amputation, or even lead to death.

Venous reflux is a condition that allows blood to flow backwards in a vein and pool, which creates increased venous pressure and can lead to a variety of venous disease conditions. Venous reflux is typically caused by abnormalities in the vein wall, damage to the tiny one-way valves inside veins that control the flow of blood (valvular incompetence), or both.
