In this beautiful stained glass window, the palm branch takes center stage — a symbol with deep meaning in the Christian faith.

The palm branch is closely connected to Palm Sunday, when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was welcomed by the people as they laid palm branches before Him. Because of this, it has long represented victory, peace, honor, and the recognition of Christ as King.

This window serves as a quiet reminder of victory through faith — Christ’s triumph over death and the hope we carry as believers, even through seasons of struggle.

At LaBrie-Claybar, we are honored to preserve these meaningful details within our chapel, each one telling a story of faith, comfort, and reflection.

This stained glass window beautifully symbolizes a faith that is not only received—but carried forward.

At its center, the torch and living flame represent a light that is actively upheld and shared. In Christian tradition, this imagery speaks to a faith kept alive through devotion, truth, and spiritual purpose.

The flame itself reflects the presence of the Holy Spirit—burning with zeal, guidance, and the quiet strength that carries us through life’s darkest moments.

More than a symbol of light, this window is a reminder of what we are called to do with it:
to hold fast to faith,
to walk in truth,
and to carry that light forward for others.

“Keep the flame of faith burning—and let it guide you.”
