Katie earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Wisconsin- Steven's Point.

She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Katie is passionate about hearing loss prevention, tinnitus management, hearing aid evaluation/ management and patient advocacy.
