Willie Chris Wilson 79 years old, a graduate of the Big Beaver Falls Area Sr. High class of 1965, departed this life after a brief stay at the Heritage Valley Medical Ctr., Beaver PA on Friday October 17th, 2025.

Willie was a retiree of the Big Beaver Falls Area School district and a dedicated member of the Second Baptist Church, Beaver Falls where he enjoyed being the Sound Technician, a member of the Tuesday night Bible Study group, Church Trustee and looked forward to taking part in any functions or fellowships that took place. He truly loved his Church family. Willie left the Beaver County area shortly after graduation and spent 10 years serving his country in the U.S. Navy Corp. Following 3 tours of Viet Nam he finally settled in San Diego CA before returning home in 1978 when he met his wife Marguerite Dreher… He returned in 1980 and in June of 1981 married.

An avid fisher, any chance to sit on a bank and throw his fishing line made him a very happy camper. Loved football and the Steelers! Although he could put the Steelers down verbally, he would take your head off at the neck if you talked bad about them.

Willie, better known as Chris, was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Beauford, Jennings, Alexander; his Father, Willie C Wilson Sr.; Grandmother, Shonnie Beauford, grandfather, Nemiah Beauford and brother, James Jennings.

He leaves to mourn his passing wife of 45 years Marguerite Dreher Wilson, son Anthony & wife Aimee Kelly, New Castle PA; daughter, Kourtney Kelly, Paramus NJ; Grandaughters, Jazmen, Payton, Leigha Kelly, Pittsburgh PA & Ciarra Kelly Hall, & Keenan Barlow, Butler PA. Fly High my husband, I promise to see you again on the other side…until then keep watch over us, we love you!

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at peace and surrounded by the unwavering love of the Lord, our beloved Ruby Jean Hilliard Carter transitioned from Earth to Heaven. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on Friday, May 9, 1947, to Samuel and Olean Hilliard, Miss Ruby was the oldest of ten children. Along with her parents and Grandparents, Alvin “Big Daddy” and Essie “Big Momma” Murrell, she is reunited in heaven with her three sisters whose loss she felt in her heart each day: Charlene Richardson, Gladys Williamson, and Angy Hilliard-Sampson.

In Memphis, Ruby worked as a hairdresser. It was there she met James Carter Sr. The two bore four children: James (Shelnita) Carter Jr., Claudette Lynn Carter, Curtis J. Carter, and Roxanne J. Carter. Her four children blessed her with ten grandchildren: Jerome (Brooke) Riggins, Rawchell (Matt) Carter-Pascarella, Tailon Carter, Raejana (Nick) Miller, Shakier (Brittany) Carter, Tianna Carter, Rayona Cleckley, Josh Carter, Jeremy Carter, and Rashad Carter.
Her ten grandchildren have, to date, given her twelve great-grandchildren: Dar’ae Harris, Jamier Carter, Jerome Riggins Jr., Endyn Taylor, Eriana Taylor, Neila Miller, Tron Pascarella, Nova Miller, Xavier Pascarella, Milena Carter, Nolan Miller and Niko Miller.
The siblings she leaves behind to cherish her memory are Lillian Martin, Jacqueline Hall, Karen Smith, Anthony Hilliard, Gregory Hilliard and Brenda Hicks; sisters-in-law Gloria Stratton and Viola Carter; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whose names may be unspoken, but whose bonds remain unbroken.

Her days were brightened by the love and companionship of her dear friends, Rebecca Ficca Salopek and Ann Brown.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her devoted caregiver Idrenda Haskins, her children Dreaven “Sweet Pea,” Dreana “Sister,” and Dre’Ceon “Peepers,” and her mother Delia Brown, who, in addition to her family, also meant the world to her.

Endearingly known as the Mayor of Harmony Dwellings, Ruby’s love for community was at the foundation of her being. For many years, she served on the Housing Authority of the County of Beaver Resident Advisory Board and was a devoted core volunteer with CARE Ministries of Christian Assembly Church Annual Christmas Dinner for nearly 30 years. She valued her community deeply, demanded respect, and instilled love in every way she knew how.
A lifelong Catholic, Ruby attended St. Monica Roman Catholic Parish (Beaver Falls), St. John the Baptist Church – Mary Queen of Saints Parish (Monaca), and Christian Assembly Church (Beaver Falls).

In her honor, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st at 3 p.m. at Christian Assembly Church, 814 Lincoln Place, Beaver Falls, PA. Following the service, all are welcome to gather at the Harmony Dwellings Community Center, 900 9th Avenue, to greet the family, be nourished, and connect in fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, canned good donations will be collected in Ruby’s honor through the Spreading Hope Amongst Youth (S.H.A.Y.) Foundation Thanksgiving Harvest Baskets of Love in efforts to reflect her giving heart and legacy she leaves behind. Carrying forward her commitment to service, these donations will help provide families in her community with holiday meals.

Join us tomorrow at 11 a.m. for Bertha Washington's service.

Bertha May Hunter Washington, 89, daughter of Charles and Mary Hunter of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio on September 18th, 2023. Bertha
was born on September 2, 1934, in Beaver Falls, PA.

She poured her love, life, and everything into caring for her family. Her light was bright enough to fill the darkest times with warmth and the feeling of home. Our Mother had no conditions or limits to her love. Mom, Mommy, Mum, Nana to some, Mrs. Washington to others, but a guardian Angel to all. As the matriarch to our family, our mother set the standard for what it means to be a Washington, a Mali, and a Hunter. Some of you may feel like she set that same standard in your homes too; Horton, Anderson, Helisek, and I’m sure many others come to mind. We were
taught that family is not limited to those you share a name with; that real family lies in the bonds you form with friends, neighbors, brothers, sisters, and cousins. We were taught how to
truly and selflessly care for and about others. Through her vision of Family, we define who we are and whom we belong to.

Our mother is no longer here. However, she is asking us to look beyond the snow caps, beyond the redwoods, beyond, the oceans, and beyond the stars. If you do, you will hear her call. yes,
her call. Her call will make you focus, make you persevere, make you joyful, make you love, and yes, make you have the audacity to reach her. I am certain she can hear your call. Why, because
she has raised us all and knows all our voices. Her call will be tender, her call will be sweet, it will be stern, and at times faint but it will be our mother’s call.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Charles M. Washington, Pete Mali, father: Charles Hunter, mother: Mary Hunter, sister: Jeanee Hunter, brother: Donald Hunter, nephew: Jackie
Lee Hunter (Head). Brother-in-laws: Skip, Chick, Deb, Daniel, Bob, and Clarence. Sister-in-laws:Mildred, Sue, Lillie, Margaret, and Maxine. Nieces and nephews: Lester, Lawrence, Gineen,
Miranda, Bernie Washington and Nephew Jackie Lee Hunter Jr.

Bertha is survived by her sons: Peter (Kathy) Mali, Charles (Melissa) Washington, Rocky (Sheree) Washington, Ivan (Lisa) Washington, and Georgie Mali. daughters: Linda Sherwood, Cheryl
(William) McClendon, Regina Washington, Drenda (Honey) (Darrell) Banks, Linda (Doll) Mali, Quantia Mali, and Gina Mali. Bertha has many grandchildren, great and great-great
grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Blessed was her life and Blessed is her legacy.

Our Family would like to express our gratitude and love for the overwhelming support we have received during this trying time. Every Prayer, every phone call, every visit, every word of
encouragement has reminded us of the immense love everyone held for our Mother. We are sincerely grateful.
