This week’s Transformation Tuesday looks a little different and has us all laughing! 😂
We jumped on the viral character-drawing trend and turned our orthodontic team into custom characters! 🖍️

Do we wish Dr. Spokane REALLY had three hands? 🧐 Yes, we do! Enjoy all of the details in each photo. Many of them reveal a little bit of who we are outside the office. Notice the pigs, cows, and horses... we have a lot of hard-working, farm girls on the staff! 🐖🐄🐎

⚡ Transformation Tuesday ⚡ We have been waiting to highlight this amazing before and after featuring Austin! 😁✨

Austin began his orthodontic journey with a severe overjet. This bite discrepancy is often referred to as "buck teeth" and can result in difficulty biting and chewing, speech problems, the inability to close your lips completely, and other major issues.

His overjet that wasn’t just cosmetic, it was traumatic and required surgical intervention as part of his treatment plan. Through careful coordination, advanced orthodontics, and surgery, we were able to address both function and aesthetics.

These before-and-after photos and X-rays tell a powerful story of transformation:
✔ Improved bite and jaw alignment
✔ Enhanced facial balance
✔ A confident, healthy smile built to last

🎉 A Historic & Heartfelt Day at Our Office! 🎉

Today marks a long-awaited milestone - the very first day seeing patients for Dr. Alexa Spokane… aka Dr. Spokane 2.0! 🦷✨

Becoming an orthodontist is no small feat! After high school, there are:
➡️ 4 years of college
➡️ 4 years of dental school to become a Doctor - at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine
➡️ 3.5 years of orthodontic residency to become an orthodontist - at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics
😧 That’s 11.5 years of dedication - and today, it all came together!

Dr. Alexa had an amazing first day, and we’re thrilled to say she was instantly loved by patients and staff alike. Her kindness, patience, and skill were on full display from day one.

And of course, a very special moment for Dr. David Spokane, the original Dr. Spokane, who couldn’t be more proud seeing his daughter carry on the legacy. ❤️🦷

Her canines originally erupted high above the arch and she had top teeth that were behind her bottom teeth in crossbite. But with orthodontic treatment, including braces and some dedicated rubber band wear, everything came together beautifully! Now look at that smile - balanced, confident, and absolutely fabulous! 😍

🎓 A Huge Milestone for the Spokane Orthodontics Family! 🎉

We are beyond proud to announce that Dr. Alexa Spokane has officially graduated from orthodontic school! This week, she walked in her graduation ceremony while family and friends cheered loudly for her as she completed this incredible achievement! The graduation ceremony was followed by a party to honor such a meaningful milestone.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there… Dr. Alexa Spokane will be officially joining Spokane & Karski Orthodontics this January! 🙌
That’s right - Dr. Spokane 2.0 is coming, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her into the practice.
