Today we celebrate caregivers, both in the healthcare field and family members caring for their loved ones.

At PAM Health, we recognize the importance of supporting caregivers outside of our hospitals as much as patients themselves. Caregivers are an integral part of PAM Health’s commitment to being there throughout the entire continuum of care. Our expert teams work with caregivers to ensure they’re equipped to help their loved one post-discharge, and our support groups offer caregivers the chance to connect with others in their community. We know your work sometimes goes unseen, caregivers, but we wouldn’t be able to do what we do at PAM Health without you!

SEPSIS SURVIVOR WEEK IS FEBRUARY 8-14. Sepsis is the body’s extreme immune response to an existing infection and can lead to widespread tissue and organ failure if not treated quickly. According to the Sepsis Alliance, sepsis kills 350,000 adults in the U.S. annually.

For those who have experienced a septic event, they and their loved ones know that TIME was of the essence. February 8-14 is Sepsis Survivor Week, honoring and supporting the experiences of those who have overcome sepsis. Learn the T.I.M.E. acronym to understand how to spot sepsis symptoms and get timely treatment.
