Youth are the experts in their own experiences!

The Oklahoma Healthy YOUth program believes that giving young people the space and support to lead is a powerful way to ensure that young Oklahomans feel connected to and served by their communities.

Our local Public Health Youth Councils are always looking to add new members, so if you or a young person you know is interested in participating, reach out to the Adolescent Health Specialist in your area! For more information or to get involved, visit https://brnw.ch/21x1s11

When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior, they send the message that it is not acceptable.

Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time. Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.
