You may be surprised to learn that floating isn't some new fad, but has its origins way back in the mid-1950s!

Beginning with the work of Dr. John C. Lilly, with further developments in float tank design by Glenn Perry, the science of floating in an environment free from outside stimulation and its effects on the human mind and body is quite fascinating!
