We’re proud to share that Gloria Hurwitz, Vice President of Advancement, recently presented at PechaKucha Night Dayton at the Dayton Art Institute.
Part of the global PechaKucha storytelling movement—held in more than 1,000 cities worldwide—these events invite speakers to share creative ideas, passion projects and bold visions for their communities.
Gloria’s presentation, “Where Everyone Belongs: Reimagining Home, Community and Aging,” explored the vision behind The Longfellow Commons Community and how strategic philanthropy can serve as a catalyst for economic revitalization, historic preservation and inclusive community development.
As a proud Dayton native, Gloria shared how values-driven investment and bold partnerships can transform underutilized spaces into vibrant places of belonging. At its core, her message focused on aligning generosity with vision to strengthen Dayton’s future.
