Meridian180

Meridian180 We combine ancient eastern energetic healing arts with western scientific knowledge to help with your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual concerns.

Meridian180 uses an advanced method of releasing stress and energetic compensations trapped deeply in the body by combining Eastern energetic healing arts and Western scientific knowledge. Client energetic results tend to be significant, permanent and occur in 1-2 sessions. There are three steps to accomplishing this:

Step 1: Define a Specific Goal Important to You
Goals can include what you ...
• don’t like about yourself
• want to change or become

Goals can relate to anything
• physical
• mental
• emotional
• spiritual
• professional
• relational

Step 2: Reveal and Release Your Trapped Stresses and Energetic Compensations
• Uses Muscle Monitoring as biofeedback tool so your body can “speak” to us
• Uses Formatting so we can “speak” to your body and access stress that cannot be reached any other way
• Involves gentle touch and other specialized techniques to release the stress

Step 3: Establish Energetic Balance that Supports Your Body’s Natural Self-Healing Capability
Usually the energetic change
• is significant
• tends to be permanent
• occurs in 1-2 sessions

Your body’s natural healing ability may
• resolve the issue, or
• optimize your quality of life around that issue

All this in a strictly non-medical, non-diagnostic, non-invasive way. Pretty cool, eh? As for me, I am a certified Level 3 Energy Kinesiologist (highest level possible) with over 1500 hours of specialized training across multiple modalities:
• NeuroEnergetic Kinesiology
• Stress Indicator Point System (one of two certified US instructors)
• Applied Physiology
• Kinergetics
• Touch For Health
• Meridian Integrated Switching

I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, and a Master’s in Genetics and Molecular Biology. This makes me the only practitioner with my mix of skills in all of Ohio or any surrounding state. There are only a handful of similarly advanced practitioners in the whole country.

Life is complex. As we have experiences, each of us instinctively creates belief systems to protect, guide, and help us navigate future complex situations. We all have thousands of these—shaped by both positive and negative experiences—and together, these belief systems form our worldview. Unfortunately, belief systems formed from negative experiences are often more dominant than positive ones. This is because we subconsciously prioritize protection from danger over the conscious pursuit of success. As a result, we may develop unhealthy beliefs such as:

-I'm not safe trying new things around those I'm close with.

-Yelling is an effective way to teach.

-Mistakes are unacceptable.

-I am constantly being judged by others.

When we work with new clients and ask what they want, we’re really asking what belief system they want to change or establish. Introspection can be difficult, but it's essential to take the time to examine why we believe what we do—and to prevent our negative experiences from controlling our lives.

Sometimes when unravelling complex clients issues, the body may indicate we need to use age regression to guide the process. We ask for the client’s current age, then count back by decades and single years, using muscle monitoring to find the ages associated with key stressors, which can help us identify the root causes.

Say we have a client in their fifties who feels an inordinate amount of stress while driving. He can’t understand it because he’s been driving for decades and is good at it. We use age regression to learn that there was a lot of stress at 24. Surprising him, until he remembers he witnessed a bad accident after having recently had a newborn and wondering what it would be like if that happened to his own child. Then his body shows stress at age 15 when he first learned to drive. When asked, he remembers learning to drive with his dad — lots of yelling, getting nervous, crashing, more yelling.

This matters because today, at 54, his brainstem still holds onto that stress — affecting him while driving, being around his dad, and even when learning new things from him. Clearing that old stress can help him change.

We've recently noticed an increase in followers from out of state, which has been exciting for us. It's a reminder that no matter where you are, we can still connect and assist you. Thanks to technology, we’re able to work over the phone, making it easy to provide support and services without geographic limitations. We’re proud to say that we currently have clients as far as Hawaii, Alaska, Nicaragua, and even some deployed in the Middle East. Distance doesn’t have to be an obstacle to your recovery. This flexibility isn't just helpful for those far away—it’s also a game-changer for folks who are in the hospital, stuck at home sick, or juggling life with little ones who might not be up for a trip to the studio. We know how hard it can be to find time and space for yourself in those situations, and we’re here to meet you where you are—literally and figuratively. If you're interested in learning more, give us a call at 937-705-0650.

Many of us are creatures of habit and struggle to adjust to sudden changes. Unfortunately, life is full of them. From suddenly having all your kids at home during the summer, to managing a big project at work, to dealing with health issues in the family, or even just feeling overwhelmed during the holidays, many of us often feel overscheduled or overstimulated. We get wound up, can't calm down, and our fight-or-flight response keeps triggering. It’s important to relax and take care of ourselves. Making a concerted effort to spend just 20 minutes a day reading a book, playing with your kids, or going on a walk with your spouse can make a tremendous difference in how you respond to the unavoidable stressors of daily life.

Postpartum depression and anxiety are struggles for many women, and these challenges can often be more severe if their baby was born via C-section. We recently worked with a woman who had two C-sections over the course of three years and suffered from intense postpartum depression each time. Though her last C-section was 5 months prior to seeing me, muscle monitoring revealed her body exhibited no stress response to the statement “I am pregnant” but showed an intense stress response to “I am not pregnant”. This indicates that her body still believed she was pregnant. This phenomenon is fairly common in women who have C-sections because delivery partly signals to the body that the pregnancy is over. Without this signal, postpartum symptoms can last significantly longer than they typically would. We were able to clear the stress, and now she is doing much better. If you are struggling with postpartum symptoms and would like help feeling like yourself again, give us a call at 937-705-0650 to schedule a consultation.

What is your inner voice like? How do you talk to yourself? Is your inner dialogue a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty perspective? Is it your voice? Your parents' voice? An ex’s voice? Is it how you talk to others, or is it different? Many people are harder on themselves than anyone else in their lives. Their inner monologue tears them down and diminishes all of their accomplishments. If you ask them how they want it to change, they cannot even imagine it being any different. A few can grasp that it could be positive, encouraging, forgiving, and supportive. It may take work and introspection, but change is possible. A good place to start is by serving others because how we treat other people significantly influences how we treat ourselves.

Temporomandibular joints (TMJs) are the joints that allow your jaw to move. Sometimes, they can become too tight. This can be caused by stress, injuries, or certain psychological issues. It can also result from other physical imbalances in your body that are reflected in your jaw. When working with a kinesiologist, we use muscle monitoring to identify these imbalances and work to correct them. Over 75% of our clients have reported improvement. Fixing a tight jaw can have indirect positive effects on emotions, posture, sleep quality, and even conversational skills. If you’ve struggled with a TMJ issue and would like help, give us a call at 937-705-0650 to schedule a consultation.

When we think of people we know, we often think of their personality traits. Some people have good personalities; others, not so much. Some are even famous for their personalities. Think of Johnny Cash: somber, dark, brooding; Clint Eastwood: tough, rough, no-nonsense; Johnny Depp: eccentric, funny, and out of pocket. Personalities are a huge part of who we are, but a mistake many people make is thinking they are static. While something as erratic as bipolar disorder is unhealthy, a completely immutable personality can be a sign of unresolved issues. People often use phrases like “I can’t” or “It's just how I am” when they feel unable to overcome a negative trait. But change is possible. Everyone is capable of positive change, so it's important to continue working on ourselves and to give others room to evolve as well.

We recently worked with a client who had experienced the same four recurring dreams every night for the past three years. Each dream followed a familiar pattern. In one, she would wander aimlessly around a city, desperately searching for her car but never finding it. In another, she was on a quest to find a specific restaurant but always came up empty. In the third, she found herself frozen in place, unable to move. And in the last, she was packing for a trip, only to realize she was always running late. Each night, she felt the intense emotions tied to these scenarios—frustration, fear, and a sense of unrest—which left her waking up feeling annoyed, scared, and exhausted. Over time, she began to dread both bedtime and naps. However, after just one session, she’s only had one such dream in the past month. Now, her dreams are positive, enjoyable, and much more varied. She’s also experiencing better, longer sleep and waking up feeling refreshed. If you’re struggling with disturbing or recurring dreams, or if you’re simply not dreaming at all, give us a call at 937-705-0650 to schedule an appointment.

No one likes hearing negative feedback about themselves. Whether it's being told that they talk too much, neglect their family, interrupt others, or have bad habits like laziness, selfishness, bad breath, or poor driving skills, it's never easy to absorb. Pride often acts as a defense mechanism in these situations, leading us to deny, deflect, attack the source, or avoid the conversation altogether. While it's easy to recognize this behavior in others, we tend to be blind to it in ourselves. However, some people handle negative feedback differently—they embrace it as an opportunity for growth. Feedback shows them areas where they can improve.

Picture two athletes: one who takes their coach’s feedback to heart and strives to improve, and another who refuses to listen to any criticism. Which one will be more successful a year from now? The next time you're faced with something you don't like hearing about yourself, don’t dismiss it right away. You may not like the source that brought it to your attention, but sit with the message for a bit, and see if it’s valid. Take it as a chance to reflect and work on self-improvement.
