The essential role of water and electrolytes in summer:
Hydration supports muscle contraction, nutrient delivery, joint and tissue lubrication, and helps maintain body temperature.

When it’s hot outside, we lose more water through sweat and increased urination. When we sweat we not only lose water, but we also lose electrolytes such as sodium potassium magnesium and calcium.
