"My dad recently passed away and despite sad circumstances I have nothing but positives to report for Tim Proctor and Westside ( aka Riverview Abbey). The hospice workers contacted them for me and I didnt know what to expect. They assured me it would be ok and I trusted them.

Mr. Proctor was kind and genuine, answered all my questions, let me know everything that was happening with my dad's remains and I felt completely supported.I had never done anything like this on my own before and even though I felt overwhelmed initially, I ultimately felt fully informed and satisfied with the outcome.

Tim helped me figure out the details of my dad's internment at Willamette ( Veteran's Cemetary) and even took the ashes over to them personally, saying he lived out that way. Which since I really DON'T live anywhere near there was super helpful. He fielded my brother and I's burial choice debate ( ground vs columbarium - the name of a wall of niches for cremation urns in case you dont know, which I sure didn't) perfectly. When I couldn't get there to pick up the death certificates he popped them in the mail and I received them promptly.

My mother is aging and ill and I had to pretty much blindly on the spot identify a funeral home on her memory care facility's paperwork on a friend's advice last year. Turned out to be Westside. When the time comes I will be very comfortable putting my mom in their hands, too."

"I investigated some cremation services just prior to my husband's passing. We did not need the comprehensive services of a funeral home and was pleased that a representative came to our home to meet us in person in a prompt manner. Mr. Proctor facilitated our picking up of ashes before regular business hours allowing a relative to take them on an a.m plane flight. Mr. Proctor also hand delivered the death certificates which were needed before mail would arrive. I highly recommend Westside Cremation service."
