Resident Butch is a huge fan of North Dakota State Bison football. Recently, Butch lost his wife, Nancy. Shea Beschorner, one of Touchmark on West Century's Dining servers, has a dad who coaches for the Bison. Through him, Shea and her dad got to know Butch at the games. One evening at dinner, Shea presented Butch with a card and asked him to open it. It was an NDSU card with notes and signatures from the coaches and all the players, including their numbers. The message was clear: they were all thinking of him during this difficult time. Butch was grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't wait to show the card to all his tailgating friends. A big thank you goes out to Shea, her dad, and the entire NDSU Bison football team for being such incredible friends to Butch, wrapping him in a little extra love when he needed it most.

With wind in their hair and smiles all around, Touchmark veterans soared over Oshkosh in a WWII-era biplane—some for the first time, others for a long-awaited return to the sky.

It was a day of reflection, joy, and gratitude as veterans from Touchmark on West Prospect took flight in a WWII-era biplane—many reliving memories of service and sacrifice. Taking flight were Ron Steindorf, Larry Abler, LeRoy Frahm, John Hanson, Bill Geenen, Vandy Nachazel, Paul Baldridge, and Josh Richmond, surrounded by family, friends, and Touchmark team members.

Thank you to Dream Flights and WLUK-TV FOX 11 for helping us celebrate these remarkable lives.

From service to sky once more—veterans from Touchmark on West Prospect relived aviation history with help from Dream Flights. “This is a wonderful way for me to celebrate my 95th birthday—not today, but later this month,” said Army veteran Paul Baldridge. “So I very much appreciate it. The pilot was wonderful. Fortunate to just have a wonderful day.”

Honoring our heroes in the sky! Earlier today, veterans from Touchmark on West Prospect soared in a WWII-era biplane through Dream Flights, reliving history from 1,000 feet up. A heartfelt thank you to the Dream Flights nonprofit for making this unforgettable experience possible for our veterans.

Touchmark family members, loved ones, and team members were there to witness this momentous occasion and share in the joy of the flyers. Taking flight were Ron Steindorf, Larry Abler, LeRoy Frahm, John Hanson, Bill Geenen, Vandy Nachazel, Paul Baldridge, and Josh Richmond.

Touchmark on Saddle Drive marked the longest day of the year with a powerful message: raising awareness for Alzheimer’s and other memory loss diseases. Residents, team members, and families came together to shine a light on those affected—and to show support never fades, even as memories do. Driving change, one classic car at a time. 💜 Touchmark at All Saints hosted its 4th Annual Classic Car Show to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association as part of The Longest Day—and the community showed up in style.
