I am postponing this event. I will set a new date as soon as I get confirmation from event space that new date is available.

I have been under the weather with allergies that turned into a cold that turned into laryngitis.

If I’m going to do a retreat about self care then I need to take time to nurture myself and make sure I’m rejuvenated so that I’m able to give from a well of health and wellness. ;)

It’s been a year since we’ve released a new soap scent. It’s the first in a few new scents that will be released in 2023.

Many of the new scents are inspired by my affinity for Ayurvedic Medicine and now even more so as I have embarked on a journey to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner.

The first in the line up is one that has thrown me a couple curve balls. When I formulated this particular soap I thought for sure it would turn out exactly how I had imagined it would. Let’s just say the image in my head was more vibrant that the actual end product. Thank you to those of you who were still willing to test that version of this new soap. I think I have finally nailed down the perfect balance of turmeric and sea buckthorn to get the color I had imagined all along for Golden Moments.

Golden Moments is inspired by one of my most favorite herbal teas—Golden Milk or Turmeric Milk. Of course I enjoy mine as a latte with coconut or Oatmilk.

Golden Moments is a warm, grounding soap with ginger, black pepper, turmeric, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut milk and topped with the prettiest Golden Milk tea blend I’ve ever seen. ( Golden Milk tea blend).

I can’t wait for you to see, smell and feel the newest soap scent.

This mask smells like summer! I’ve been playing around with different masks this week while getting back into the groove of giving facials.

Today I was in a pink mood. This mask is pink clay, organic pomegranate powder topped with a strawberry distillate that I made a while back. With the sun teasing us lately here in Oregon I found myself craving summer inspired scents.

The strawberry distillate has aged into this beautiful floral, fruity, sweet and earthy aroma. Reminds me of picking strawberries every summer between 6th and 8th grade. The dew evaporating off the strawberry bushes as the sun began to warm the earth…walking along trying to find the best spot in the patch to start your day and the smell of dirt being released with each step you took. Memories brought to you by our most primitive sense…the olfactory system.

I can’t wait to put this mask on my client today. I know I’ll be transported back to that berry patch sitting on the wet ground—listening to cassette tapes on my walkman as my skin began to darken and redden because we didn’t wear sunblock back then.

I’m still in awe of how much positive feedback has been given of the jasmine inspired bath and body oil I have been fine tuning since the summer.

I received this message about a sample of the jasmine oil today. “ I absolutely LOVE the jasmine body oil. I will definitely be ordering.”

Time to figure out the most appropriate packaging for this rich, sweet and spicy bath and body oil.
