I spy with my little eye... πŸ‘€ This tonovet device is a simple, handheld tool that measures pressure inside the eye. It allows us to quickly and painlessly screen for glaucoma and other eye conditions.

Tiny Lola channeling her inner wild cat 😾

Posturing like this (AKA the "Halloween cat" pose) is an important part of wild cats' survival instincts. By turning sideways, arching their backs, and puffing their fur, cats make themselves look bigger and more intimidating. Sometimes, this posture is also seen in play, especially in kittens.

So how can you tell which is which? When a kitten is scared, you'll also see hissing, growling, or bared teeth. Playful posturing will usually be accompanied by playful bouncing and no defensive noises.

Learning to read cats' body language is an important part of keeping our feline family members happy and healthy! Don't worry, baby Lola may have talked a big game, but by the end of her visit she warmed up to Dr. Simon.
