Ephelia Healing Arts was born out of Jamie's desire to help gently guide others on their journeys to finding their inner truth, heal their souls, and explore their spiritual path. Jamie teaches Empowered Movement to help remind the body how to heal itself and prepare it to receive the energy and love it needs. She uses her Energetic Healing abilities to discover and clear blocks, whether they are emotional, spiritual, or physical.

At first I was discouraged that I couldn't get a full picture of last night's full moon. Then I noticed the equal armed cross with the moon shining brightly behind it and realized it's the perfect picture. The equal armed cross is thought to symbolize the four elements , balance, the four seasons, and other aspects of nature. That felt fitting just after earth day.

How Ephelia Healing Arts was born

The first question I always seem to get it, why Ephelia? What does that mean? It was created through my bellydance alias, Epheli, as a name for my business when I decided to start teaching bellydance. I was looking for something meaningful, and when you say Ephelia, you hear “I feel ya”, which is exactly how I felt about my students, and my art form. When I moved to Oregon in 2018, the universe decided I needed to pursue more of my life dreams, and presented me with an opportunity to earn my Yoga Teach certification, and so that was added to my teaching skill set. During all of this, I was reconnecting with the earth, and trees, and the rains after 10 years living in the desert. I remembered how I used to feel energy, and began working with healing once more, earning my certification in Energy Medicine from Donna Eden, and my level 1 Reiki certification. I’m continuing my educations in all areas, and I can’t wait to continue sharing my gifts with students and clients. This is how I want to shape a more beautiful world for everyone.
