HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR January 29, 2025
At Lunar New Year, it's tradition to give the gift of a bright, beautiful red envelope to your friends and family. But not just any old envelope. These are filled with money - and symbolize good wishes and luck for the new year ahead.

PET MEMORIAL DAY September 8
Pets play an important role in our lives. Not only are they companions, but pets become part of the family, too. Pets keep us responsible and remind us to play. When we are too serious, they lighten up our lives.

When we lose a beloved pet, the pain is genuine. Whether furry, feathered, or an uncommon variety, the loss is felt deeply. They become family and a familiar part of our lives. However, everyone mourns differently.
*Some pet parents plant a memorial. Whether they plant a tree, shrub or perennial flower, the plant offers an annual reminder of their pet.
*Others may create a stepping stone with a paw print, placing it in a garden.
*Donate to a local shelter in your pet's name. Just to name a few.
These actions offer a tangible way to cope with their grief.

Welcome to Threadgill’s Memorial Services

WE ARE A FUNERAL SERVICE PROVIDER UNLIKE ANY YOU’VE EVER HEARD OF.

It is our work to step into the most tender moments faced by a family. We show up when our clients feel the deepest loss and the most profound grief. In our 20 years of supporting families in these most difficult times, we’ve learned a few things: We’ve learned that how we serve matters. That the family heals when the family participates. That warmth, personal touch, and kindness create moments of deep cartharsis. We recognize the various emotions that occur at the time of death and hold a sacred space for families to experience these emotions. We promote the emotional and spiritual well-being of the surviving family by not rushing the departure of the deceased. We encourage families to light candles, play music, give a toast, tell stories, dress their loved one in a departure outfit. We reverence the manner in which the deceased is transported. We rarely cover the face and use beautiful quilts as a sign of respect. We play their favorite music as we transport. We value the peace that we can bring to the family by making the arrangements in the comfort of their home. We consider it our gift to the family to provide them with the highest level of service.
