The Springs Living has the extraordinary honor of serving dozens, if not hundreds, of veterans who now live in our communities. So we are always thrilled when Veterans Day comes around, as it gives us the opportunity to celebrate these remarkable residents.
One way we honor the veterans who live in our communities is through a partnership with Dream Flights, a nonprofit that gives veterans rides in a World War II-era Stearman biplane. In this video, Dean Clark, a 100-year-old World War II veteran and resident of The Springs at Happy Valley, shares how a recent flight fulfilled a lifelong dream, as it was the plane his brother used to train other pilots during the war.
