It’s just bossa nova and I now on our walks together and I like to take him for a walk in the old neighborhood of our office. Well, don’t tell me dogs don’t have memories . He ran right up there.🤗

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that Stella succumbed to her Cushing’s disease last night She passed away at home and her big giant bed in front of the fireplace, by the Christmas tree, and surrounded by people she loved and Bossa nova. What a special little creature. Today would’ve been her 13th birthday her 13th year being an official greeting dog at the office. She was an icon and she will be sorely missed by all! I am taking the day off today to collect myself and process and spend time with Bossanova❤️

Bossanova is still the Boss of me 🤗 even though he’s getting older, he still comes to the office every day, but he’s part time now. His office hours are from 10 AM to 1pm for meat and greets 😂 don’t come without meat!!

Fascinating Facts:

As many of my patients know, I use
muscle stimulation in my treatment sometimes. Many folks liken the sensation to a TENS unit but what I use is different and here is why.

TENS units, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, is purely used for pain relief. To put it in the simplest of terms, with TENS units you put the pads side by side just above where the pain starts and just below. When turned on, it essentially disrupts the pain signals from the injured area to the brain. Pain relief! That is it's sole purpose and can help reduce the amount of pain medication that you may need.

The Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) that I use in my office also helps disrupt those pain signals but it also helps with inflammation, circulation, and stimulates the muscles to RELAX ultimately helping your pain as well.

It is always my objective to get muscles to CALM DOWN before performing a chiropractic adjustment. It makes it easier for me and much more comfortable for you!

Actually, I often with mark, with sharpy, on a patient so that they know where to put the electrodes on from their TENS units!
