We hope to educate the community on Down Syndrome and how they are important members of our society.

Attention all special needs families!!! We are having a fun event after the Buddy Walk on September 13th at the Midd-West football stadium at 4:30. All are welcome to come out and join the football team and cheerleaders to run some plays and do some cheers!

Second family fun day coming! Saturday August 2nd at 11! We have reserved pavilion T6, see photo below. It is at the bottom of the parking lot. We will meet for lunch and then enjoy the park. The DSSSV will provide hot dogs, place settings, drinks, and some ride tickets. Please bring a dish to share and comment that dish below. If you know of any families that do not check this page, please let them know, they are invited.

I am officially doing a lobster run to Maine with deliveries on July 3rd in Danville, Selinsgrove, and Beavertown. The lobsters will be 1 1/4 pound to 1 1/2 pound 'quarters' as they call them. I am picking them up the morning of the 3rd on our way home. They will be alive so be prepared with a cooler or something to take them home in. This is a fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Society of the Susquehanna Valley and there are no costs involved other than the wholesale cost of the lobsters. The lobsters are $13.00 each or (2) for $25.00. I will need the money before we leave so please send me your orders and money no later than June 26th. We should be in Danville around 3, Selinsgrove around 4, and Beavertown around 5 for pick-ups.

We are having our first family fun day on Saturday June 21st at 11 at T & D's Cats of the World! Please let me know if you can make it! We will provide tickets for entry for everyone in your house. We are planning a lunch from 11 to 12 (Zoo opens at 12). We will be providing a deli platter and the fixing as well as drinks. Please let us know if you can bring a dish to share. Please RSVP ASAP!
