working out harder

You avoid it because every time you look…

you don’t recognize yourself.

The belly that showed up out of nowhere
The clothes that don’t fit
The feeling of “wtf happened to me”

And imma keep it real…

it’s not just about how you look.

It’s how you feel IN your body now.

Disconnected
Frustrated
Critical as hell

So what do you do?

You try to fix it.

Eat cleaner
Work out more
Push harder

And when that doesn’t work?

You blame yourself.

Your mind isn’t the problem.

But imma keep it real…

the way you’re trying to “fix it” is exactly why it won’t shut off.

You’re exhausted…
so you grab another iced latte.

You know you need to relax…
so you try to meditate.

Your brain won’t stop…
so now you’re frustrated AND wired.

Then comes the melatonin.

Knock yourself out.
Wake up still tired.
Do it all over again the next day.

🤔 And you’re sitting there like…
“why TF can’t I calm down?”

Here’s why:

You’re trying to calm your mind
from a body that still feels completely ON.

So every time it doesn’t work…
you tighten control.

Try harder.
Force it.
Look for something to shut it off.

But your body doesn’t work like that.

A stressed nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure.
It responds to safety.

That’s the shift.

You don’t need to shut your mind off.
You need to feel calm.

Because when your body finally feels safe…
your mind stops running the show.
