This marks a significant step in protecting our nation's water from these persistent contaminants. Sharing some photos from the Water Systems Council annual fly-in! It was an incredible opportunity to engage with industry leaders and policymakers, sharing insights and driving conversations about the vital role of water in our communities. The Baker Water Systems team had the chance to participate in meaningful discussions, and we found everyone extremely receptive to our message.

We delved into the crucial work of the Water Well Trust and the impact it’s work has on the lives of the 2.2 million Americans living without access to running water in their homes. It’s a stark reminder of the challenges many face in securing basic needs and the significant role that private wells can play in providing cost-effective solutions.

Water Systems Council is advocating for continued support for programs like the EPA’s training and technical assistance for private well owners and the USDA Decentralized Water Systems Grant Program. These initiatives are vital for ensuring that all Americans have access to safe, clean water.

It was a privilege to be a part of this year’s fly-in and to contribute to these important conversations. The commitment to improving water access and quality was palpable, and it's clear that together, we can make significant strides in addressing water scarcity and safety.
