🔓 Freedom Friday: Finding Peace Through Acceptance 💙
📖 Inspired by a paraphrased passage from page 417 of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Today’s reminder is simple — but life-changing: acceptance is the answer. 🌿

When we feel disturbed, it’s often because we’re resisting reality… We spend our time wishing people, places, or situations were different.
The truth?
Peace doesn’t come from changing the world 🌍 — it comes from changing our attitude 🧠.

✨ Nothing happens by mistake.
When we accept life exactly as it is, we open the door to serenity.
For many of us, that freedom began with accepting our alcoholism. 🤍
Once we stopped fighting and started living life on life’s terms, happiness became possible.

Instead of being the critic who points out every flaw 🔍, let’s remember:
🌱 There’s good in the worst of us
🌱 A little imperfection in the best of us
🌱 And we all have a right to be here

Complaining about others — or ourselves — can keep us stuck. Acceptance sets us free. 🕊️

Freedom begins when we let go of control and choose acceptance.

Less sunlight, colder days, and disrupted routines can impact mood, energy, and motivation — for anyone.

Gentle Tips That May Help:

☀️ Light matters — try a light box in the morning or a short midday walk outside
🛌 Stick to a sleep routine — consistency helps regulate your body clock
🚶‍♀️ Move gently — even 10 minutes of walking or stretching counts
🧠 Name it — “This is seasonal depression, not my whole life”
