Today we celebrate an amazing milestone –
Frank Copley's 20th anniversary of volunteering with us!

Frank has given 13,877 hours of service so far, continuing the legacy of his father, who volunteered here for 28 years and gave an incredible 15,000 hours. Frank’s personal goal is to honor his dad’s memory and surpass those hours – and he’s well on his way!

Not only has Frank dedicated himself to volunteering, but he also served our nation as a United States Marine. Now, he continues to serve by giving his time, heart, and dedication to helping fellow Veterans.

We are so grateful for Frank’s commitment, passion, and service. Please join us in congratulating him on this remarkable milestone and in thanking him for all he does!

Today, we pause to honor and remember America’s Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action. You will never be forgotten.

One of those heroes is Mr. Alton Hines. Though he now resides in Virginia, he still considers the Beckley VA his family. For the past few years, Marley Sizemore with CDCE has made sure his favorite pizza (meat lovers, no bacon) is delivered to his home, along with a heartfelt phone call that always brings good conversation and connection.

Today—and every day—we honor Mr. Hines and all POW/MIA. Their courage, sacrifice, and resilience continue to inspire us all.

Beckley VA Medical Center is thrilled to announce that our facility has received a 5-star rating from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for Quality and Patient Survey Rating!

The CMS uses a five-star quality rating system, known as the Star Rating Program, to measure the experiences Medicare beneficiaries have with their health plan and health care system.
Health plans and hospitals are rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, with 5 being the highest.

The Beckley VA Medical Center 5-star rating is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team. This rating reflects commitment to providing the highest quality care to the Veterans we serve by excelling in the identified set of quality measures compared to other hospitals in the United States.

Thank you to the incredible staff, Veterans, and community for your unwavering support. The Beckley VA Medical Center will continue striving to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional healthcare services.
