Today we celebrate more than just a holiday, we celebrate memories made, laughter shared, stories told, and hearts that stay young no matter the age. Christmas is about connection, kindness, and finding joy in the little moments… and that’s what being Young at Heart is all about.

To our seniors who continue to inspire us daily, to the volunteers, and community partners who show up with compassion and heart, thank you. You make this season brighter than any string of lights ever could. ❤️

On this day of gratitude, we want to take a moment to reflect on just how thankful we are for the incredible community that surrounds the Young at Heart Games. Today isn’t just about turkey, parades, and pumpkin pie, it’s about celebrating the friendships, memories, and moments of joy that make Bedford such a special place to call home.

We are truly grateful for each and every participant, from our spirited competitors to our loyal cheerleaders in the stands. Whether you joined us for shuffleboard, bocce, co****le, or showed up simply to laugh, clap, and make new friends, you are the heartbeat of this program.

We are thankful for the families who support their loved ones in staying active and engaged, the volunteers who show up rain or shine with smiles and helping hands, and our incredible partners!

To everyone who has cheered us on throughout the year: thank you for proving time and time again that the Young at Heart Games are more than an event, they’re a family. We had an absolutely WONDERFUL time celebrating the 2025 Young at Heart Games Holiday Party! Even the Grinch himself couldn’t help but crack a smile with all the laughter, games, and festive chaos happening around the room.

🦆 Quack, quack, hooray! 🦆

We had a fowl-tastic time at our annual Young at Heart Games Summer Picnic today! Between the laughter, food, and games, it was like a giant duck pond of fun.

Some of us waddled, some of us splashed, and a few may have even been sitting ducks when it came to the games 🏆😂

Thanks to everyone who joined in the quacktivities, because life’s just better when you duck out of the ordinary and dive into fun with friends! 💛
